Delhi shocker: Elderly couple hit by speeding car during morning walk; man dies [Watch]
In what was a horrifying incident reported from the national capital’s Geeta Colony, an elderly couple was hit by a speeding car early on Sunday morning. While the husband lost his life in the accident, the woman got critically injured and has been shifted to a hospital.
The shocking hit-and-run incident took place near the fire station in the Geeta Colony area between 6:45 and 6:55 am on August 28, when the couple was out on a morning walk.

The vehicle fled the spot after the incident. The police immediately rushed to the spot and rushed both the victims to a nearby hospital. While the man died on the spot, the woman suffered grave injuries and is in critical state.
The police have sent Hiralal’s dead body for post-mortem and are looking into the CCTV footage from the surrounding area in a bid to trace the vehicle.
A case has been registered and further investigation into the matter is underway.
