In New Delhi, heavy rains led to waterlogging in many areas along with massive traffic jams across the city on Wednesday morning.

The city witnessed heavy downpour that went up to 95.75 mm in just two hours.

Rainfall choked roads in Gurgaon and Noida. Areas near IGNOU, Indrapasth Flyover, Sarai Kale Khan, Barapullah Flyover towards DND, Ashram Chowk, Maharani Bagh, Lajpat Nagar, Raja Garden to Mayapuri, among other areas were also flooded.

The weather department has warned of thunderstorms with rain through the day. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 32 degree celsius.
