Delhi Assembly Election 2020: AAP launches campaign song 'Lage Raho Kejriwal'

Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday launched its campaign song- 'Lage Raho Kejriwal' ahead of Assembly Elections.

The 2-minute and 52-second campaign song has been launched by senior AAP leader and deputy CM Manish Sisodia, in the presence of AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh and Atishi. The Song has been created by famous Bollywood music composer Vishal Dadlani.


Later the video was also shared on AAP's official Twitter handle.

The song plays out to shots of CM Kejriwal addressing packed rallies interspersed with photographs of landmarks in Delhi.

The video also highlights the achievements of the Kejriwal-led government, focusing in the fields of education, transportation and ensuring drinking water supply in the city.

During the release of the campaign, Sisodia addressed party workers and said the song represented the voice of Delhi people.

He also demanded BJP apologize to the people of Delhi for calling them 'freeloaders'.

Chief Election Commissioner on January 9, announced the polls date for Delhi Assembly elections.

70-member Delhi Assembly will go to polls on February 8 and the counting of votes will be held on Feb 11. The voting will be held at 13,750 polling stations.

The term of the current assembly will expire on February, 22.
