Coronavirus: 38-year-old Covid-19 patient dies in Patna, death toll in India rises to 7

A 38-year-old man with a travel history of Qatar died at the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in Patna on Satruday.

The man’s samples have now tested positive for the coronavirus. This takes the total number of deaths in India to six.


Two coronavirus cases have been reported in Patna thus far including the man who lost his life. The second patient is at present receiving treatment at Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) in the city.

On Sunday, a 63-year-old Covid-19 patient died in Mumbai taking the number of deaths in Maharashtra to two, official said.

A total of 324 coronavirus cases have cropped up in India thus far, the Ministry of Health said on Sunday.
