Two men have been taken into custody for posting around 30 pictures of a college girl on porn site, according to an official on Thursday.

Ajay Rajagopal and Vaishkath were taken into custody under section 66 and 67 of the information Technology Act for uploading images of college girls, said Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch Kuldeep Jain.

Joint Commissioner of Police, Sandeep Patil, stated that the victims’ images had been taken from their social media handles. Eight FIRs have been filed in this case.

Vishkath, a college student, used to chat with Rajagopal who was 37 years of age , he pretended to be a girl using a fake social media account. They indulged in smutty talk several times but had never met each other.

As time went by, Vishkant started sharing pictures of college girls and Rajagopal would upload them on the porn site, said Kuldeep Jain. "One motive for uploading the pictures was to harass those girls. There was no money involved in the matter,” said Jain.

The CCB (Central Crime Branch) has got those images removed from the site by writing to legal agencies. “All the pages have been removed from the website. None of the information is available now. We acquired the IP addresses of the accused and solved the case in 2-3 days,” Jain said.

Both the accused were presented before the court and are in the police custody.
