Andhra Police: Cop raises awareness while riding horse painted with images of COVID-19 [PIC]

In the wake of rising cases of Coronavirus, the Indian government and police personnel have ramped up efforts to spread awareness among people. From providing home delivery services to singing songs in a bid to keep people indoors, police are trying its level best. Now, the newest thing added to the list of Police activities is from Andhra Pradesh where a sub-inspector in Kurnool district rode a horse painted with images of COVID-19.

According to news agency ANI reports, “Sub Inspector Maruti Sankar, Peapally Mandal, Kurnool district rides a horse painted with images of #COVID19 virus, to create awareness among the public about the pandemic.”

As per the latest update, the total number of positives cases for coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh has climbed to 23 with two fresh cases reported on Monday.

On the other hand, in India, the number of positive cases for coronavirus has surged to 1,330 and 40 death cases have been reported so far.

Meanwhile, the nation is observing 21-day lockdown from March 25.
