Agra Murder Case

In a horrifying incident reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Agra, a 20-year-old woman was murdered and her body was later set on fire allegedly by her boyfriend and his father, following a dispute.

The gruesome killing transpired on Thursday when the half-burnt corpse of the woman was found on Jalesar road, which falls under the jurisdiction of Khandauli police station.

Following this, an investigation was taken up into the matter.

According to the information, Sepoy Veerpal, father of the deceased, is posted on the PRV of UP 112 in Mathura's Sadar area and he had registered a missing complaint about his daughter at the Etmaddaula police station.

As maintained by SSP Sudhir Kumar Singh, on the day of the crime, the victim, identified as Khushboo had gone to her boyfriend's house where his father was also present. It was when an argument flared up between the trio that her boyfriend, in a spurt of rage, allegedly murdered her.

The accused and his father then took the victim’s lifeless body to an isolated area where they set it on fire after pouring petrol.

Police have taken the father-son duo involved in the brutal killing of the woman into their custody. Police have also recovered the deceased victim’s mobile phone.
