Honeytrap

She is 56-year-old. Not many would suspect her of indulging in the crime of extorting money through a honeytrap. But her age is perhaps her biggest strength. Before the victims could realise they were getting sucked into a black hole of honeytrap, it almost always proved too late.

Impersonation - Woman from Saudi Arabia, alone in the city
Year: 2018
Location: Jamia Nagar Delhi
Her victim here was a doctor to whom she introduced herself as Parveen from Saudi Arabia, visiting Delhi alone. She called him to come over to her home for her treatment, the doctor mentioned in an FIR.
Once at her home, the woman had sex with the doctor after allegedly sedating his cold drink. Parveen's aid was ready with a camera and filmed the doctor with the woman. The gang started making extortion calls and demanded Rs 50 lakh to keep it a secret.

The doctor approached the police in 2018, which led to a hunt for the woman and her gang members. It became evident that Parveen is not her real name - she is Johri Jabi- absconding with no trace of her whereabouts.

Johri Jabi's two aides got arrested in 2019. But she remained in hiding, away from the surveillance of the police teams.
According to police, she has allegedly blackmailed at least 10 people.

A tip that leads to her arrest
Since 2018, police teams in Delhi have been trying to arrest her. On June 16, the police team got the information that a woman had been living in Bhopal using a fake identity. Delhi Police team arrested Johri Jabi from Bhopal on June 18.

According to a report in The Times of India, she told the cops that the kingpin of the gang was her cousin. She used to stay at Hoshangabad in Maharashtra and was called to Delhi by her cousin to extort the rich.
