20-year-old ITI student cut into pieces, dumped in borewell by friends; cops looking for body parts

In a shocking incident, a 20-year-old ITI student was brutally murdered in Uttar Pradesh’ Meerut. According to the reports, his body was cut into pieces and the body parts were dumped in the borewell.

For the past three days, police and local authorities have been digging a deep borewell in search of the missing body or body parts.


According to a report in The Times of India, 20-year-old was identified as Rupak, who went missing on June 25 after he went out with a group of friends. After he didn’t return till late night, his family approached the police.

The family told the police that Rupak had some quarrel with the friends over a remark against his sister. After a heated argument, one of the friends shot him dead.

The boys then buried the body in a field at a brick kiln. However, they were feared about being caught for the murder, they dismembered the body with the help from the others, indiatoday.in reported.

Vikas, the prime suspect, took the pieced up body to a borewell with the help of others on the outskirts of Meerut and dumped the body.

Police with the help of the irrigation department dup up 50 feet of the ground in search of the body parts and weapons.

However, they still feared being caught for the murder. Then the group exhumed the body and Vikas, the prime suspect, dismembered the body with help from the others.

Police are yet to land on any evidence and are suspecting that the group may be misleading them with false claims of dumping the body in the borewell.

Meanwhile, the police are digging the borewell with utmost care as investigators fear if the body parts are deep-lying inside the well.

With the help of the irrigation department, police have been digging the well for the last three days.

Also, police have been unable to arrest the suspects without any evidence against them. However, four of them have kept in detention. Meanwhile, Rupak’s family is waiting for the answers.
