Weather update: Temp likely to rise in North India; parts of Karnataka, Kerala, TN to experience rainfall

According to the weather department, deep depression over Andaman is likely to intensify into a cyclone storm today. A sharp increase in temperature has been logged in the past few days. In several parts of Rsjasthan and Madhya Pradesh, the scorching heat of May-June has started going down in March itself.

In some of the states of North India including the Delhi, the temperature has become very high and there is no hope of respite in coming day. Simultaneously, light shower has been forecasted in some states including Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra because of which there is a likelihood of respite in these areas.


As maintained by the India Meteorological Department, today’s minimum temperature in the national capital is going to be 20 degree Celsius, while the maximum temperature will be 36 degree Celsius. Strong winds are expected during the day. 

In Gujarat’s Ahmedabad, the minimum temperature here will be 23 degree Celsius, while the maximum temperature will be 39 degree Celsius.

In Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, the minimum temperature here is 20 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 38 degrees Celsius.

Besides this, there will be light cloudy sky over Dehradun today. The minimum temperature here is 17 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 34 degrees Celsius.
