Diwali Puja Shubh Muhurat 2020: Know the exact timing of Lakshmi pujan

Diwali is just around the corner and people have started preparation for India’s one of the most anticipated festivals in India. It is also known as the festival of lights. As per the Hindu calendar, Diwali or Deepavali is observed on the day of Amavasya or new moon, which falls on the 15th day of the waning moon or Krishna Paksha in the month of Kartik.

Diwali symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance".

Hindu worships Lord Ganesha and Goddess Laxmi for their good health and wealth. After the Diwali puja, people exchange sweets and gifts among families, friends, and relatives.

Diwali Puja Shubh Muhurat:

 

This year, Diwali will be celebrated on Saturday, November 14, which is the same day when Choti Diwali or Naraka Chaturdashi or Choti Diwali will also be celebrated.

Puja Timings:

The Lakshmi pujan will be held between 05:58 pm and 07:59 pm on Saturday, November 14.
Diwali celebrations begin with Dhanteras followed by Naraka Chaturdashi, Lakshmi Puja, Govardhan Puja, and concludes with Bhai Dooj and Vishwakarma Puja.
