Ahead Lok Sabha Elections, the frest internal war between sidelined Bhartiya Janata Party MP Shatrughan Sinha and party, it sounds like the bugle of rebellion. As per reports, Sinha has decided to attend the Opposition meet called by TMC chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on January 19.

Actor-turned-politician, Sinha who has refused to quit BJP his own but has challenged the party to sack him. However, recently the BJP has itself asked him to leave the party if he is unhappy.

A report in the Hindustan Times said the advice to the Patna Sahib MP was given by Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister and senior party leader Sushil Modi. The BJP leader reportedly said Sinha had “fallen into the bad company of Yashwant Sinha.”

Sushil Modi made the remarks during a programme of a TV channel organised on Tuesday. “Shatrughan Sinha is also my icon but the manner in which he is targeting the BJP, he should quit. He is using all sorts of language against the party which made him the Cabinet minister, Rajya Sabha member for two terms and gave him two terms in the Lok Sabha,” he said.

The Patna MP has been critising the party and PM Narendra Modi over issues like demonetisation, rise in fuel prices and also alleged Rafale deal as scam. He has been seen praising Congress president Rahul Gandhi on many occasions.
