In his harshest assessment yet of his Russian President Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump has that Putting is probably involved in ‘assassinations’ and ‘poisonings’ but he downplayed the harsh comment by saying that the killings were ‘not in our country’.

Trump said this in an interview given to CBS News’s 60 Minutes programme. In the same interview, he also said China interferes in US elections and the trade war with China was actually a ‘skirmish’.

He also talked about climate change and said it is not hoax but he remains doubtful of who or what cause it.
When asked that whether Vladmir Putin is involved in assassinations? In poisonings, he said “Probably he is, yeah. Probably I mean, I don’t …,”.

“But I rely on them; it’s not in our country”.

Western countries imposed sanctions against Russia after a former spy Sergei Skirpal and his daughter were poisoned. US also joined them in slapping sanctions.

However, Russia refused to accept it. It has all previous instances and allegations of murders and assassinations of those critical of the government.

Trump rarely says any harsh things about Putin and he was accused of having a link with Putin. Russian interference into US elections is a matter of national debate in the US.

When asked about Russian interference, Trump said “They –they meddled. But I think China meddled too”.
Special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating the issue of Russian interference.
