The Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is looking forward to establishing a "working relationship" with other political parties on parliamentary matters.

According to the Dawn, a PTI delegation met with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ayaz Sadiq on Sunday at the Speaker House to discourse on the parliamentary affairs and decided to move ahead with 'mutual consultation'.

In a press conference here after the meeting, the nominee for PTI's National Assembly speaker, Fawad Chaudhry, and Asad Qaiser announced that the party wanted to establish "working relationship" with the other political parties.

They further said that the parties need to join hands to deal with the economic crisis and other challenges faced by the country.

Prime Minister-in-waiting Imran Khan will take oath at the President House in Islamabad on August 18, instead of August 11.
