From Eva Longoria to Demi Lovato, the celebs who dazzled DNC

The Democratic Convention kick-started on 26 July at Philadelphia, to formally declare Hillary Clinton as the party\'s chosen face for the upcoming US presidential elections. The first night at the Democratic National Convention was fuelled with political star power, with the likes of Senator Bernie Sanders, the First Lady Michelle Obama, and Senator Elizabeth Warren urging supporters of the democrat voters to rally behind Clinton, and her visions for the future of America.

Comedian Sarah Silverman, who has very vocally declared to have \'felt the Bern\', pledged her allegiance to Clinton. Eva Longoria also appeared on the Democratic Convention stage, passionately slamming Donald Trump. Former President Bill Clinton, husband of candidate Hillary Clinton was present on the stands, enthused with the overwhelming support pouring in for Clinton from all quarters.

Singer Demi Lovato also graced the stage at the DNC, talking about the challenges of living with mental illness, and belted out a soulful performance.

With the likes of Susan Sarandon cheering from the stands, and a line-up of celebrities like Katy Perry, Lena Dunham, Chloe Grace Moretz and America Ferrera set to deliver speeches, the four-day long Convention promises to be a star-studded affair.
