Traffic: When Manoj Bajpai turned traffic policeman for a day!

Bollywood films today thrive on carefully planned promotional strategies. And when it comes to films that aim to tackle social issues, this becomes a crucial responsibility.

Traffic, directed by Late Rajesh Pillai, features Manoj Bajpai playing the character of a tainted traffic policeman who sets out on a mission to deliver a live heart by road from Mumbai to Pune under a stringent deadline.

The film is based on a real life story and addresses issues like green corridors and transport problems in the country.

With only days left for Traffic to hit the silver screen, the film's team has been attending a number of promotional events for the film.

As a part of one of such promotional strategy, Manoj Bajpai recently stepped into the shoes of a traffic policeman in real life. He worked with other traffic policemen for a few hours in the afternoon sun.

Traffic, which also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Divya Dutta, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Sachid Khedekar, the film is releasing on 6 May. Check out the photo here:
