Television actor and comedian Ali Asgar who gained fame for his role as Dadi and Nani in Kapil Sharma's comedy show is back on the screen to entertain the audience with Sony TV’s upcoming comedy show, The Drama Company. Ali will be seen playing various roles with other celebrities.

The comedian came in news a few days back when he left The Kapil Sharma Show. When he was asked the reason of quitting the show, he was reported as saying, “There was no growth in the character and that’s why I took an exit. It wasn’t like I was bored of doing that but it was mentally affecting me because I couldn’t see any growth in it.”

When he was asked if he will work again with Kapil in near future he told, “I will surely work with him as he is my friend. I wish he will offer me a lovely character one day.”(as per TellyChakkar reports)

Ali has done theatres, films, etc. but is still looking out for roles. According to him acting is like an ocean and you get to learn a lot of things once you plunge into it. Every time you come on stage, you feel that there is a lot to do. He further expressed his desire to do something negative, like a grey role so that people can hate me.

From the statements that he gave, it seems as if he is regretting leaving The Kapil Sharma Show.
