Bigg Boss Nau vs Power Couple: brothers Arbaaz and Salman Khan take over Indian TV

The Khan-daan is soon to rule over Indian television. While everyone knows about Salman Khan launching Bigg Boss Nau in October, elder brother Arbaaz Khan too is gearing up to judge a new reality TV show.

Both Arbaaz Khan and wife Malaika Arora Khan have been roped in as the judges of a couple reality show -- Power Couple. The show is a rip off of an Israeli TV show with the same name. According to the format, the show will have celebrity couples locked inside a house, trying to complete challenges that will test their chemistry and bonding. Um, Bigg Boss Part 2?

The actor, who was recently seen in Kapil Sharma's Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, while talking about the show said:

"This is the first time I am taking on the host's mantle and I am thrilled to do so with Malaika by my side. Power Couple is an interesting format and I am glad we could do this together."

Power Couple is going to be aired on Sony Entertainment Television and will start soon after Bigg Boss Nau goes on air.

Malaika is only too familiar with playing the judge on TV shows. In fact, she is currently on prime time TV as one of the judges on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Hubby Arbaaz Khan too has judged Comedy Circus for a season in the past.

Now if we talk business, this time of the year every year, while Bigg Boss starts with a new season, there are several other reality TV shows that start getting aired on different channels. Previously, Star aired either Master Chef or Nach Baliye in this time, whereas Sony Entertainment Television usually banked upon a new season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.

But do you think a new TV show, with Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan for judges, can really challenge the TRP rates of Salman Khan's Bigg Boss Nau?
