Navjot Singh Sidhu sacked from The Kapil Sharma Show over controversial comments on Pulwama attack

The Congress’ Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu is back in controversy after his comments on recent Pulwama terror attack on Thursday. On public demand, Navjot Singh Sidhu has been asked to leave The Kapil Sharma Show over his comment on Pulwama attack. Sidhu will replaced by Archana Puran Singh on the show.

According to Indian Express reports, A source said, “His remarks have not been taken kindly by most. Also, the channel and the show was getting dragged into the unwanted controversy. This is when the team amicably decided that Navjot make a distance from the show. The team has already shot a couple of episodes with Archana.”

Let us tell you reacting on the Pulwama attack, Sidhu had commented saying, “For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual? It (the attack) is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished.”

Sidhu’s statements have hurt not only his followers but also fans of The Kapil Sharma Show, following they demanded Sidhu’s exit from the Kapil Sharma’s show or they’ll boycott the show.
