#MeToo: Shocking! Comedian Kaneez Surka writes an emotional post against Aditi Mittal, who sexually harassed her publicly

After comedian Utsav Chakraborty from Tanmay Bhatt’s AIB, now Aditi Mittal has been accused of harassing her fellow comedian Kaneez Surka. Yes, Aditi has accused of forcibly kissing Kaneez publicly during an event two years ago.

Kaneez has joined the #MeToo campaign and raised her voice on Twitter against Mittal and wrote an emotional piece about the whole incident what had happened with her.


She took to Twitter and wrote that Aditi Mittal has kissed her forcibly without her consent in the presence of an audience two years ago.

Kaneez wrote that two years ago, she was hosting an event at Andheri Base where there were around 100 people who were listening and watching her, including many comedians, then, Aditi walked up on stage and forcefully kissed her on mouth out of the blue and also put her tongue in her mouth when they were on stage. She added that Aditi did all this thing without her consent which made her humiliated and left her completely in shock.

Surka has raised her voice amid #MeToo movement, which is providing a platform on micro-blogging site Twitter, to raise one’s voice about bad memories that had happened in past with someone.

She has also extended her support to #MeToo campaign and also wrote that 'I stand with @AGirlOfHerWords and all women who are coming out. If any of the comedians (including some of my closest friends) knew about this and did nothing, then I am hurt that you didn't think it was important enough to make our community a safe space for us.'
