Laado - Veerpur Ki Mardaani: After Manish Raisinghani, its Shaleen Malhotra for Avika Gor this time

Television famous and one of the most loved actresses Avika Gor is back with her new show Laado - Veerpu Ki Mardaani and this show is the second season of Colors' popular show Na Aana es Des Meri Laado.

The interesting thing is that Avika Gor and Laado are both the identity of Colors channel as Avika Gor's began her career with the show Balika Vadhu, while Laado along with Balika Vadhu wad the first show of the channel.

In this case, the channel wants to repeat the same popularity and same star cast to recall and revive the old audience of the channel. It has already been told that Meghna Malik who played leading lady of Amma Ji in the show has made a comeback in her powerful avatar and Avika Gor will be a second leading lady of the film.

This time the makers have changed the concept of the show as Ammaji will support the girl child in the village. Since the promos of the show has come out so everyone is asking who will play the main male lead role in the show. Now, this has been revealed that none other than Star Plus's TV show cop 'Arjun' Shaleen Malhotra has been chosen to play the leading role in the show.

This is surely an interesting thing as this is the second time when Avika has been paired opposite double of her age actor. Earlier, she was opposite Manish Raisinghani in Sasural Simar Ka and now Shaleen Malhotra in Laado - Veerpu Ki Mardaani.

Actor Shaleen Malhotra told Times of India, "It was awkward for the first time when I heard that I would be paired opposite Avika. But I became comfortable when I realised that she has always worked with older guys. I guess a couple of them are older than me as well. Forget age, Avika has worked more than me and is mature as an actor and a person."

The show Laado - Veerpu Ki Mardaani is going to be on-air from today on Colors channel.
