After Homeland, Nimrat Kaur to star in another American show, Wayward Pines

Our home-girl Nirmat Kaur of Lunchbox, Airlift fame is moving from one big show to another. After a successful stint in Homeland, Kaur will now star in M Night Shyamalan's psychological thrillers, Wayward Pines.

Based on a series by bestselling author Blake Crouch, Wayward Pines is into its second season, and this too will run for 10 episodes.

The plot of the series revolves around a town that's fighting to survive and co-exist under the first generation residents. The rebellion that follows helps Dr Theo Yedlin, a fairly new entry, help 'save the human race'. Kaur will be playing Theo's wife in the series.

The show's executive producers include Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan, the author - Crouch, Mark Friedman, and Donald De Line.
