German automaker Volkswagen (VW) introduced its Polo-size crossover, T-Cross Breeze in the Geneva Motor Show 2016.

The convertible crossover will be "affordable and cheeky cabriolet", Herbert Diess, chairman of the VW group said.

However, as a damage control measure for the diesel emission issue in the United States, VW has also committed to go greener with this concept. A turbocharge 1 litre gas engine has been introduced in the car.

The Polo-size crossover comes with a 2.565-meter wheelbase and delivers power of 108 bhp. The dual-clutch, seven-shift transmission will boost the speed from 0-100 km per hours in 10.3 seconds, while the top speed is 188 km per hour.

With its remarkable fuel efficiency and 115g CO2 per km emission, the car will focus on developing markets like India and China. The Breeze will surely become a part of VW's sales and marketing strategy for India.

Fans can look forward to seeing it at the next Auto Expo.
