Micromax Canvas Spark 3 launched at Rs 4,999

Indian smartphone maker Micromax launched another mid-budget segment phone, the Canvas Spark 3, at Rs 4,999.

The smartphone will be available in an online flash sale on Snapdeal.com from 7 April. Registration will open on the e-retailer's site on 1 April.

• 1GB RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage
• Expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card
• Android 5.1 Lollipop

• 2509 speaker with a 1.5 CC box
• Pre-loaded with 10 regional languages
• Available in black and champagne gold colour

The company's Chief Marketing Officer, Shubhajit Sen, issued a press statement on the launch of the smartphone. He said,

"India being a value driven market, consumers are seeking more productivity, efficiency, entertainment, multitasking and better connectivity. With the launch of the Canvas Spark 3, we are yet again reinforcing our commitment to make technology and entertainment accessible for everyone."
