
British automaker Porsche is all set to launch their newest model - touted to be the cheapest vehicle from its kitty - on 15 November.
The new Macan R4, placed below Macan S diesel an Macan Turbo petrol will compete against the Jaguar F-Pace. Porsche has already thrown open the pre-bookings of the Macan R4 variant for a token amount of Rs 10 lakh.
According to reports, the Macan R4 will be priced at around Rs 76 lakh, which falls slightly above price of the F-Pace's base spec of Rs 72.6 lakh.
The Porsche Macan R4 Engine
The Macan R4 will sport a 2.0-litre petrol engine that can generate 249bhp of power and a maximum torque of 370Nm.
The Macan R4, with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, can jump from 0-100kmph in 6.7 seconds with a top speed of 230kmph.

The Macan R4 sports a wide grill on the bumper with foglamps, while the headlamps sit deep in the hood. The rear tail lamps stretches flow from the boot lid onto the sides of the vehicle.
Porsche's new entry will include an adaptive suspension and a dedicated off-road mode as well as a seven-inch touchscreen paired to an 11-speaker Burmester audio system. The car will include a top-shelf leather upholstery, a sunroof and climate control.
Along with these, the car will get also come with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, stability control and traction control.
