India's leading smartphone company Intex has launched its new phone, the Aqua 4G Strong, at a price of Rs 4,499. The phone is only listed on official site of the company.

The domestic mobile company has been working to enhance its offerings in the 4G smartphone sector. Last month, Intex launched the Aqua Raze and the Intex Aqua Wing at Rs 5,199 and Rs 4,599, respectively.

The Intex Aqua 4G Strong features voice over LTE (VoLTE) - the network supported by the Reliance Jio network. This means that it supports two LTE bands in India - TDD 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD 1800MHz (Band 3).

The phone may disappoint a few with its 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) screen that gives a pixel density of 233ppi.

The dual-SIM phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735M) processor coupled with 768MB RAM.

It comes with 4GB internal memory and is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. The phone sports a 2-megapixel main and 0.3 megapixel snapper. Backed by a 1700mAh battery, the Intex Aqua 4G Strong also claims to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time, the company said.
