Chinese telecom company Huawei has unveiled its first smartwatch in India, priced at Rs 22,999.

The smartwatch sports a 1.4-inch circular AMOLED display with 400x400 pixels resolution. It also has a scratch-proof sapphire crystal lens and IP67 rating, which makes the watch water resistant.

It has a 300 mAh battery and comes with Bluetooth, microphone and speaker support.

Headquartered in Guangdong, China, Huawei is the largest telecommunications equipment manufacturer in the world, having overtaken Ericsson in 2012. In 2014, Huawei recorded a profit of 34.2 billion CNY (US $5.5 billion).

Its products and services have been deployed in more than 140 countries and it currently serves 45 of the world's 50 largest telecoms operators.
