Apple to launch iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in red colour on 9th April

There are rumours from various sources that iPhone may launch the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8plus in Red colour. In the partnership with RED, a group which fight against the HIV/AIDS in Africa. MacRumors found a memo of Virgin mobile, which states that Apple is going to launch iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus on 9th April in new red colour. Last year in March, Apple launched the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus (Product) RED edition in support of the organisation. According to the reports, the new edition will be available for preorder. It’s not clear in the reports that the new iPhone X is also a part of this new edition, but speculation is the company could launch the RED edition of all the three models to support the organisation. The Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, one of the trusted source has also confirmed the arrival of (PRODUCT) RED iPhone family but didn’t provide any extra information related to the price and availability.

(PRODUCT)RED is an organisation which collaborates with the private sector to raise the funds for fighting against the HIV/AIDS in eight African countries i.e. Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, and Zambia. Till now, Apple has launched the various product under the (PRODUCT)RED, iPod and iPad models and latest iPhone 7 has become the part of this program. Apple raised over $160 million (approx. 1,038 crores) by this unique program to support the (PRODUCT)RED and contribute a big part of the sale in the donation to power up the fight against HIV/AIDS in eight African countries.
