Apple has quietly increased the price of MacBook by up to Rs 10,000. The change happened last week and the Apple India website has been updated to reflect the price changes.

The 12-inch now starts at Rs 1,12,900, marking an increase of Rs 6,000 from last October. MacBook with faster processor and double SSD storage now has a starting price of Rs 1,39,900, an increase of Rs 10,000.

However, Apple has not changed the US price of the MacBook.

As understood, these are the maximum retail prices and the final price of the product may vary, online and offline.

MacBook was last updated in April with 6th generation Intel Skylake processor, a slightly faster RAM and with a new Rose Gold colour variant.

Apple has discontinued the 11-inch MacBook Air and MacBook is the smallest portable Mac that Apple is currently offering.
