ICC Women's World T20: India gear up for do-or-die battle against England

Indian eves will take on England in a must-win encounter at the Dharamshala cricket ground in Himachal Pradesh on 22 March for the Women's World Twenty20.

The Indian team lost their previous match against Pakistan by just two runs under the Duckworth-Lewis method. And another loss would virtually throw the hosts out of the competition.

Meanwhile, New Zealand brushed aside defending champions Australia with a six-wicket win in a group A match at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on 21 March. Asked to bowl first, New Zealand restricted Australia to 103 for 8 before surpassing the target with 22 deliveries to spare.
