With Thalaiva Rajinikanth in US, Kabali music launch cancelled
The much-awaited Rajinikanth-starrer Kabali is slated to hit screens soon. Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu and directed by PA Ranjith, Kabali features Rajnikanth in the role of an ageing don. The film was in the news recently when the producer, S Thanu stated that the music launch of his upcoming mega-budget film will be held at Chennai's YMCA grounds on 12 June.
Unfortunately, the latest update is that Rajinikanth won't be available in Chennai around the date of Kabali's music launch. The Thalaiva, who is currently vacationing in US, has confirmed that he will not be joining the Kabali team at the event. Following this, the Theri producer cancelled plans for a mega music launch and opted for a soft launch on 12 June. Reportedly, the album will directly hit the music stores on 12 June.

The music of Kabali has composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The film also stars Radhika Apte, Kalaiyarasan, Winston Chao, Dhansika and Dinesh Ravi.
