Video: Chiyaan Vikram's sweet gesture towards fan makes him social media favourite

A video clip from a recently held Malayalam cinema award show has been making headlines since yesterday.

Tamil Superstar Chiyaan Vikram was the chief guest of Asianet Film Awards 2016 and during the event, a diehard Vikram fan ran into the VIP front row section where the superstar was seen sitting with other famous personalities of the film industry.

The enthusiastic fan shocked everyone at the award show by hugging his idol right there. The security officers jumped into action and pulled the fan away from Vikram and were in the process of throwing him out of the venue.

But the National Award winning-actor was kind enough to stop the security and allowed his fan to take a selfie with him. The emotional fan thanked his superstar by planting a kiss on the actor's cheek and hugging him again. The video of this incident has been going viral since last night and the actor was praised across social media for his sweet gesture.
