Tamil actor Thala Ajith starrer Vivegam has almost ended its theatrical run at the Box Office. The action entertainer, which had released on August 24 to terrific collections has struggled to gain momentum with each passing day across the cinemas of Tamil Nadu.
Vivegam marked the third collaboration between Thala Ajith and director Siva after the blockbusters Veeram and Vedalam and Thala fans have been waiting for another blockbuster from the hit actor-director duo.

However, much to the disappointment of Thala Ajith fans, Vivegam emerged as one of the biggest flops of the year. The final Box Office collections of Vivegam stands at Rs. 112 crore, which is in fact lesser than the opening weekend collections of Thalapathy Vijay's Diwali blockbuster Mersal. While the worldwide theatrical rights of Vivegam sold for a whopping Rs. 85.5 crore, it only managed to recover 70% of the distributor.
