Villain: Mohanlal's action thriller to become the first Malayalam film to have a 7 AM fan show in this non Kerala market

Mohanlal's upcoming film Villain is slated to be released on Friday. The action entertainer which stars the Malayalam superstar in the titular role of a retired police cop Mathew Manjooran has been directed by B Unnikrishnan. Villain stars Manju warrier in the female lead and also marks the Malayalam debut of Tamil actors Vishal and Hansika and Telugu actors Raashi Khanna and Srikanth.

Catch had previously reported that the Mohanlal starrer has taken one of the best advance booking of the recent times. Huge number of fans shows are also scheduled in most of the districts across the Kerala.

And now, here is an interesting news for all the Lalettan fans of Bangalore.

For the first time ever a Malayalam film be having a fan show in Bangalore city.

"Villain will have a 7 am screening just for fans at HMT Cinema in the Jalahalli area of Bengaluru. It will be the first time a Malayalam movie will have its special screening for fans in the city", a member from Mohanlal's fan club in Bangalore has confirmed the update.

Villain is also the maiden Malayalam production venture of Rockline Venkatesh, who's known for bankrolling Rajinikanth's Lingaa and Salman Khan blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
