​Villain : After Drishyam, Oppam and Pulimurugan, Antony Perumbavoor to star in Mohanlal's thriller

The second schedule of Mohanlal's Villain has started in Kochi. Directed by B Unnikrishnan, the film marks the debut Malayalam venture of Rockline Venkatesh, the maker of Salman Khan blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Earlier, Catch had reported that Mohanlal starrer will be having an ensemble star cast including Tamil stars Vishal, Hansika Motwani and Telugu actress Raashi Khanna.

An addition to the cast has been made as Mohanlal's friend and Malayalam film procuer Antony Perumbavoor has been roped in to essay a police officer's role in the film. The producer of Drishyam and Oppam was earlier seen in a cameo role in both the films and Pulimurugan as well. The makers also revealed a pic featuring Mohanlal and Antony Perumbavoor together.

Villain stars Manju Warrier in the female lead. The film also marks Mohanlal - Manju Warrier's fifth outing after Aaram Thampuran, Kanmadham, Summer In Bethlahem and Ennum Eppozhum. The duo has signed ad film maker Sreekumar's directorial debut, Odiyan as well.
