Chiyaan Vikram's sci-fi thriller, Iru Mugan, which opened to viewers on 8 September, is enjoying a stellar second-week run at the Chennai Box Office.

On its second weekend, the Anand Shankar-directorial was screened in 23 cinemas across Chennai. A whopping 275 shows of the film were held during its second weekend at the Chennai Box Office. The film has collected nearly Rs 93 lakh in its second weekend with over 90% occupancy.

At the end of its 11-day theatrical run, the Vikram-starrer has grossed Rs 4.75 crore in Chennai and has emerged the fourth biggest hit after Vijay's Theri, the Rajinikanth-starrer Kabali, and Suriya's 24.

Meanwhile, the Vikram-Nayanthara film failed to perform well at the Kerala Box Office. By the end of the second weekend, Iru Mugan grossed an average of Rs 6 crore in the state.
