Why did Vikram Prabhu copy the title of Kabali's song, Nerrupu Da for his maiden production?

Tamil actor Vikram Prabhu is all set to make his debut as a film producer. The son of veteran actor Prabhu and grandson of the late legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan, Vikram Prabhu has titled his first film as a producer after the title of a song in superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film -- Kabali.

The song in question is Nerrupu Da from the gangster drama, which has already left the music lovers anticipating for the film more.

Vikram Prabhu officially launched his production banner, First Artist, at Sivaji Ganesan's place named Annai Illam, in Chennai. The event was attended by veteran film producers AVM Saravanan, Kalaipuli S Thanu and actors Siva Kartikeyan and Sathish.

Reportedly, Vikram Prabhu, who is essaying the lead role in the film will be seen as a fire fighter and a die-hard Thalaiva fan. Nikki Galrani's name has been finalised as the leading heroine of Neruppu Da.

Neruppu Da also marks the directorial debut of Ashok Kumar, a former associate of Romeo And Juliet fame Lakshman. Sean Roldon has been roped in to compose the music for the film.
