Vijay vs Ajith: Which superstar will star in Atlee's next?

Tamil director Atlee's blockbuster film, Theri is all set to complete 100 days at the Box Office. The Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer released on 14 April 2016 and is still running to limited screens all over India.

Earlier, Catch had reported that Atlee will be making the sequel to Theri with Vijay after the actor's upcoming release Vijay 60. But now, the Kaththi actor is in talks with director Sundar C to portray the lead role in Sri Thenandal Films' upcoming mega budget film, which is touted as the most expensive film to be made in India.

And according to the recent media reports, Thala Ajith has suggested Atlee to make a film with him. Reportedly, the Vedalam superstar had invited the super hit film maker to his residence recently to narrate a story and the actor seemed impressed by the Raja Rani director's narration. This gives Thala an outside chance over Ilyathalapathy to feature in Atlee's third film.

However, an official announcement from the director is keenly awaited.
