Video: Akshay Kumar wants to watch the first day first show of Rajinikanth's Kabali

You know by now that Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is making his Tamil debut with Shankar's 2.0 (Robot 2 or Enthiran 2), a sequel to 2010 blockbuster Enthiran.

The film will see Akshay playing the antagonist opposite Rajinikanth. And it appears as though the Housefull 3 star cannot stop fangirling over the Thalaiva.

Akshay, who is currently in Chennai for the shooting schedule of 2.0, launched the audio of GV Prakash's upcoming film Enakku Innoru Per Irukku on 12 May.

During the event, Raju Mahalingam, the CEO of Lyca Productions that is bankrolling 2.0, showed him the teaser of his Rajinikanth's upcoming film, Kabali.

According to reports, Akshay has expressed his desire to watch the first day first show of Kabali. Raju Mahalingham took to Twitter to confirm the same. He posted:

Mahalingam also added a one-minute video of Akshay watching the Kabali teaser, something Bollywood's Khiladi termed as "superb".

The video had gone viral across all social networks.

The teaser of Kabali, which was unveiled on YouTube on 1 May, has garnered amazing response from the audience. It has become the first Indian film teaser to cross the 15 million-views mark on YouTube in eight days. Kabali, directed by Pa Ranjith, features Rajinikanth in the role of an ageing don. The film also stars Radhika Apte, Kalaiarasan, Dinesh and Ritwika.
