Varma: Title of Arjun Reddy's Tamil remake featuring Dhruv Vikram released
Popular Malayalam production house E4 Entertainment, who bought the Tamil remake rights of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy has finally revealed the title of the film. The film, which marks their maiden production venture, will also see the acting debut of Dhruv Vikram, son of Tamil superstar and national award winning actor Vikram.
On Friday, CV Sarathi, the joint owner of E4 Entertainment along with Mukesh R Mehta took to Facebook page to reveal the title of the Tamil remake of Arjun Reedy.
The Tamil remake of the Telugu path breaking cinema has been titled as Varma. The makers also released a poster which features the a sketch of Dhruv in beard. Vikram's son will be seen reprising the lead role in Varma portrayed brilliantly by Vijay Deverakonda in its original version. National award winning director Bala has been finalized as the director of Varma.
Interestingly, it was Bala's 1999 film Sethu helped Vikram to win the national film award for best actor. The film later remade in Bollywood titled Tere Naam featuring superstar Salman Khan.
