The sequel to this superstar's blockbuster all set to clash with Salman Khan's Race 3
The shooting of Vikram's Saamy Square is currently progressing at a brisk speed. Directed By Hari, the action-entertainer is a sequel to the 2003 blockbuster, Saamy. Saamy Square stars Keerthy Suresh in the female lead while Bobby Simha essays the main antagonist role.
According to the latest buzz in the Tamil film trade circles, Saamy Square is being planned for a June 14 release, as a Eid treat. Interestingly, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's Race 3 is also scheduled to release on the same day. It's a risky move from the makers of Saamy Square as Eid period are said to be the lucky date for Salman Khan films as most of his blockbusters were Eid releases.
