Release date of Puneeth Rajkumar's Chakravyuha postponed to 22 April

The release date of much-awaited Kannada film, Chakravyuha starring Puneeth Rajkumar has been postponed. The M Saravanan directorial was initially slated to release on 8 April 2016, as an Ugadi (Kannada New Year) gift to the Kannada cinema lovers. But the latest update is producer of Chakravyuha, N K Lohith has decided to postpone the film's release to 22 April 2016.

The producer took to Twitter to reveal the new release date of the film. This is what he posted:

"Everyone get ready!! Chakravyuha to be released on 22nd April. Let's rock it together. #Chakravyuha #worldwiderelease #sunshinecreations" [sic]

The trailer of the film garnered a positive response from the audience. Touted as an action entertainer, Chakravyuha stars Rachita Ram as the female lead. Arun Vijay of Yennai Arrindhal fame plays the antagonist in the film. The movie also stars Sadhu Kokila, Abhimanyu Singh, Bhavya and Rangayana Raghu.
