Thattathin Marayathu star, Isha Talwar to make Bollywood debut opposite Saif Ali Khan

Popular Malayalam­ Telugu actress Isha Talwar is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the upcoming film of Delhi Belly director, Akshat Verma. The film stars veteran actor and Chota Nawab of Bollywood Saif Ali Khan as the male lead. Touted as a romantic- comedy, Isha Talwar will be paired opposite the Hum Tum actor in the film.

Even though Isha Talwar is a Mumbaikar and made her acting debut in Bollywood as a child artist in Anil Kapoor-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Hamara Dil Aapke Pass Hai, she has not acted in a Bollywood film as a female lead so far. However, she is very popular among the Kerala­ and Telugu audience thanks to her Malayalam hits, Oru Thattathin Marayathu, Bangalore Days, Bhaskar The Rascal and Telugu films, Gunde Jaari Gallanthayinde and Raja Cheyyi Vesthe. Recently, she made her Tamil debut in Meendum Oru Kadhal Kadhai, a remake of her Malayalam blockbuster with Nivin Pauly, Oru Thattathin Marayathu.

Meanwhile, the un­titled film marks the second directorial outing for Akshat Verma. His debut film, Delhi Belly, an adult comedy was a runaway hit at the Bollywood Box Office.
