Suriya to play a boxer in Kabali director Pa Ranjith's next

Tamil superstar Suriya is shooting for the last few schedules of his upcoming film, Singham 3 (S3). The third installment of the popular Singham franchise marks the return of Suriya in his much-loved tough cop avatar.
According to reports, Suriya has signed on for a film with director Pa Ranjith, who is currently basking in the success of his last offering, the Rajinikanth-starrer, Kabali.
The Ghajini actor will reportedly play the role of a boxer in the untitled project. He is expected to start preparing for his role by the last week of August, after he completes shooting for Singham 3.
Suriya recently showed off his versatality by playing three roles in 24, a thriller based on time-travel.
