Shivalinga soares; Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar celebrates 30 years in style

Kannada film superstar, Shiva Rajkumar completed his 30 years in Kannada film industry. To add more sweetness to his celebrations, the actor's last week release Shivalinga was well received by the audience. The P Vasu directed film stars Vedhika in the lead. The film also marks the debut of the director's son, Shakthi Vasudevan, Vaishali Deepak and Malayalam veteran actress Urvashi. The horror-thriller was released on 12 February and opened to rave reviews and strong collections.

The makers organised a screening of the film on Thursday, 18 February, 2016 for Rajinikanth and other Tamil cinema veterans. The Thalaivaa showered full praises for the actor Shiva Rajkumar and the director Vasu. He also wished the director's son Shakthi a good debut.

Shiv Rajkumar was entered in Kannada film industry with Anand in 1986 and the film was a blockbuster. The actor's next two releases Ratha Sapthami and Mana Hechchida Hudugi were also blockbusters .

The actor became a blockbuster hero for the Kannada film lovers since then. In his 30 year long career, the actor has acted in many memorable films like Om, Janumada Jodi, AK 47, Chigurida Kanasu, Kaddipudi, Jogi, Bhajarangi and the recent blockbusters Killing Veerappan and Shivalinga.
