Shah Rukh Khan to make debut in Tamil as villain in Ilayathalapathy Vijay's next 'Thalapathy 63'

If belive to media reports, Shah Rukh Khan after giving back to back flop films Jab Harry Met Sejal and Zero is all set to make his debut in Tamil film industry. The reports suggest Shah Rukh Khan will star in Thalapathy 63, starring Illayathalapathy Vijay. Earlier there were the reports that SRK may have an extended cameo in the film but now it reports that it will be beyond the cameo.

According to a report of Pinkvilla, a source said, "SRK has a prominent character that he's playing in Thalapathy 63. It's not like his other cameos. In fact, he is the main villain who comes in the picture only towards the climax. He has a good 15 minutes odd role, fighting Vijay. The makers wanted a leading face from the Hindi film industry to shoot for the role and when Atlee approached Shah Rukh for it, he agreed on principle to do it."

 

Now if everything goes as per the plan then SRK will soon join Thalapathy 63 sets and it will be four-five days shoot. The scenes will be shot in Chennai or in Mumbai only. The rumours of Shah Rukh's debut came after he was spotted with director Atlee in MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk for a recent IPL match.
