Sai Pallavi clears the air around Mani Ratnam's next Tamil film

Earlier Catch had reported that Malayalam actress Sai Pallavi is making her Tamil debut with a lead role in filmmaker Mani Ratnam's upcoming film. But now, the latest update is that the Premam actress has now been replaced by Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who's making her Kollywood comeback after a gap of seven years.

It was rumoured that the Kali actress turned down the lead role as she is not comfortable to do the intimate scenes, which is an essential part of the script.

However, today morning Sai Pallavi squashed the rumours through her Twitter account.

This is what she tweeted :

There are many rumours going around; Thought I'll personally clear things: No one will ever have the heart to walk out of a Mani Sir's film, Neither did I! Sir, being a legendary director knows who's best for the character & as a caring person knows what's best for me too. Mani Sir was kind enough to explain things based on developments in the script. For his stature he needn't have. Being an ardent fan of his work I'm as excited as everyone for this film.

Like Premam, Sai Pallavi's second outing, Kali was also a big success at the Box Office.
