Saaho: Mandira Bedi to portray a negative role in Prabhas' Rs 150 crore film

The shooting of Prabhas' upcoming film Saaho is currently progressing in Hyderabad. The film, touted to be an action adventure, has been directed by Sujeeth Reddy. Saaho is said to be a Tamil - Bollywood bilingual and will also see the Bollywood debut of Prabhas and Telugu debut of Shraddha Kapoor.

Catch had previously reported that the makers have roped in Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff, Chunkey Pandey, Neil Nitin Mukesh to portray the roles of antagonists in the film.

And now, Saaho makers have roped Bollywood actress and popular anchor Mandira Bedi as well.

Reportedly, Mandira Bedi will be seen essaying a negative role in Saaho.

"Mandira, who plays a negative character called Kalki, was shooting in Hyderabad with Jackie till recently. They shot for some action sequences including hand-to-hand combat scenes. Their second schedule will commence shortly," a source close to the film was quoted as saying.

Produced by UV Creations, Saaho is reportedly being bankrolled for a whopping amount of Rs. 150 crore.
