Rs 1.75 crore song in Puneeth Rajkumar-starrer Doddmane Hudga!

The shooting of the upcoming Kannada film, Doddmane Hudga, is on at a brisk pace in Karnataka. Written and directed by Duniya Soori, Doddmane Hudga stars Puneeth Rajkumar and Radhika Pandit as the main leads. It also stars veteran real life couple Ambareesh and Sumalatha in important roles.

According to media reports, Soori has filmed a song which cost a whopping Rs 1.75 crore in the making! The first half of the song, Abhimanigale Nammane Devru, was shot with 200 dancers and 180 cast members at Kanaka Durgamma ground while the rest of the song was shot at Hospete, Hubballi Channamma Circle with an idol of the goddess.

Reportedly, two drone cameras and 15 steady cameras were used for five days to shot the epic song, which was choreographed by Harsha. The song has been composed by V Harikrishna with lyrics by Yogaraj Bhat.

Doddmane Hudga is produced by M Govindu under the banner Ajay Pictures. Touted as an action-entertainer, it is slated to hit the screens on 12 August, 2016.
