Rohit Shetty prepones Golmaal 4, averts 2017 Diwali clash with Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar's 2.0

As expected it happened! The much-awaited 2017 Diwali clash between Rohit Shetty's Golmaal 4 and Shankar's 2.0 has been averted.
Earlier this year, Rohit Shetty had announced that the fourth installment of his successful Golmaal franchise is slated to be released on the auspicious occasion of Diwali 2017. Recently, the makers of Shankar's 2.0 too, had revealed the release date of Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar starrer as Diwali 2017 release.
As per media reports, Rohit Shetty, who is a huge Rajinikanth fan, has decided to change the release date of his comic caper so that it does not lock horns with the Thalaivar film. In his 2014 blockbuster Chennai Express too, Rohit Shetty had proved his admiration for Rajinikanth by giving a tribute song, Lungi Dance to the Tamil megastar.
The Ajay Devgn - Parineeti Chopra starrer will now release two weeks prior to the release of 2.0.
